Ever since I got handed a cd called Fried Chicken & Watermelon, I must admit, it was not even getting my time a day. I guess I judged a cd by its cover where it was a low budget artwork layout and thought it was gonna be wack. A few months later it surfaced somehow outta my messy ass car and I gave it a ear finally. Sleeping heavily I was, but really came to recognize the duo from Inglewood sure had that new profound sound of LA hip hop. The album quickly grew on me and became my top albums in rotation. I’m now a fan and these dudes are really going at it on the independent tip as most artist are now doing. Controlling their own destiny as it should be. Just got done chopping it up with my man Aspect 1 and son got his upcoming album scheduled to be release next month in August. Deserving of a big delicious meal, My friend Pabst and I made the trek to the re-opening of “The Boat” to have lunch. The last time I’ve been here was when they had the old location. Ever since they relocated just on the other side of the new constructed plaza, I”ve been itching to check the new location. Since I gave up meat, I lived vicariously thru Pabst as he ate the delicious juicy double cheeseburger smothered with the house chili…..damn I miss those burgers. On the other hand, I can still eat the famous cheese breads which is a for sure hit. Make sure you visit “The Boat” 7215 N. Rosemead Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91775 if your in the area or just make the trek for a awesome dining experience…..oh and they also got a full bar with selective brews on tap!!

So we were relunctant and determined to get this money and get our asses into the biggest rave of the summer annually Electric Daisy Carnival @ the Sports Arena and Coliseum. Panic got banned from the last rave incident, and other vendors that are usually there werent. I guess too that it did cost like $1500 for a booth 2 days. Being in the game for years we were out to get in and hustle these members only jackets we got stuck with. Lets just say we sold the fuck out like 65 pcs.. and I heard in attendance overall was like over 100k. Thats millions of dollars that I smelt all night long…..luckily we got our piece of the pie!! Good Job Winston!!
