Soul Purpose

CReam Team was started and bred in 2008 by Shert One and EL Prolific. Two artistic individuals who had the thirst and hunger for a street brand of their own. We started the brand to to test our imaginary skills and creative direction into designing tees that stood out with dimensional meaning. Shert One aka ChopStick Charlie ran a brand a few years back called “daku” which was the original kush novelty t-shirts….the og kush clothing company. The brand daku was veered towards people who prefer the upscale herb strain known as “the kush.” Thats where ‘da’ slang for ‘the’ and ‘ku’ short for ‘kush’ came from. After marketing to the spoiled stoners for so long, he felt burned out and wanted to revamp into another brand, something to offer more to everyone, not just kush patrons. In 2008, he teamed up with a long time friend and musician / producer El Prolific to collaborate forces and stem into something new and fresh for the streets.
We came up with the name CReam Team with the purpose of networking and building with other like minded individuals who are as true to their craft as we are. Whether you rap, dj, produce, paint, design, skate, bboy, or just basically go for yours, we support you. By doing so, we sponsor and collab with those that are dope and fresh at what they do. Everything we do is independent and we respect those that do the same. Its more than just selling clothes, its a movement we are a part of and truly believe in. The progression of hip hop culture keeps us motivated and interested. Everything we do is a D.I.Y. type of lifestyle, from designing to printing to selling to promoting to sponsoring to guerilla marketing. All this being manifested with little to no financial backing from anyone, we still continue to push forward. Trying not to lose focus in the process. Its definitely a learning curve trying to hang and make noise in the streetwear game. Soon we will expand into accessories, gadgets, and cut & sew. After all, we stay married to the streets of LA and we stay hungry. We’re confident enough to do what we love to do, and just basically work for ourselves to benefit us and those around us. Bred in Los Angeles to the casket drops, after the jump and hype…..well be drafting Teammates worldwide!! Look out for CReam Team as we slowly but surely “Takeover!!”
